Xiao-Mei has been created from two coloured pink Vintage Velvet fabrics from the 1940s. The main colour is Rose Bonbon and the lighter (head and stomach) are Misty Rose. I have added definition to her face, paw/foot pads by using Prismacolour Pencils, they are Chocolate, Brun Foncé and Rose Fardé. Fully 5 way jointed with Matt Black English glass eyes. Filled with steel shot for added weight. Xiao-Mei stands at 4" ~ 10cm
 
Xiao-Mei name means Little Plum Blossom in Chinese. Edwardian in style, this panda is as pretty as a picture, created to give you a teddy bear of bygone days. Her elegant design has been created to look like a teddy bear from the early 1900s.  Her stylish lace dress and her accessories which include light pink velvet ribbon around the bodice and over the shoulder strap. Pearl pink ribbon and a soft mauve fabric flower with a tiny rose Swarovski crystal adds a touch of sparkle! Pearl seed beads finish off her attire. All are stained with Handsel and Gretel's House scent.
