George my first Giraffe has been created from 1940s Summer Gold vintage velvet. I have added definition to his face, paw/foot pads by using prismacolour pencils. Fully 5 way jointed with black glass eyes. Filled with steel shot for added weight. George stands at 4" ~ 10.16cm
 
What can I say about this wee Giraffe? Well, he's shaded with two different prismacolour pencils Chocolate & Noir. I have tried to give him similar marks that you would see on a real Giraffe. He has skinny arms, skinny legs, big ears & the usual Giraffe nobbly head ( ossicones ) which I love! His tail is 1ply Old Gold wool that I have braided & then tied a knot at the end.
 
George has a deep blue crumpled ribbon with a rustic circle charm with the word 'LOVE' inscribed. His ribbon has been stained with Hansel & Gretal House, a lovely aroma of orange, lemon & bergamot. Ginger, nutmeg, honey & clove plus vanilla bean & cocoa!
 
If you are a teddy bear lover, I am sure there is a place in your hug for George. He is such a sweetie!
